Other congenital diaphragmatic herniae
Other congenital hiatal herniae are rare. They may present with regurgitation, vomiting, dysphagia and progressive loss of weight in small children.
Conservative treatment is usually sufficient, nursing the child in a sitting position. Surgical repair is indicated if this fails.
