Fructose-1-phosphate aldolase

Fructose-1-phosphate aldolase is an enzyme that converts fructose-1-phosphate into dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde. It is used to modify fructose for glycolysis.

An inherited deficit of this enzyme can lead to fructose intolerance.
