Investigations
The diagnosis is proven by biopsy; a circumcision may be necessary to reveal the tumour. Other investigations include: (1)
- chest X-ray - to look for metastases
- CT scan of pelvis - to assess spread of the tumour along the iliac vessels. Useful if a block dissection to the inguinal nodes is contemplated. (2)
