Vincristine
Vincristine is an antineoplastic alkaloid which binds tubulin and results in metaphase arrest. It is used as a sulphate salt in palliative treatment of a variety of malignancies.
Side effects include:
- sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy
- mild bone marrow suppression
- paralytic ileus
- alopecia
- joint pain
- inappropriate ADH secretion
