Trichoepithelioma (solitary)
A solitary trichoepithelioma is a slowly growing epithelial tumour. There is no genetic association. It presents as a single pink nodule, usually on the adult face. Histologically, it may show keratotic cysts and multiple failed attempts to form hairs.
Treatment is by excision.
