Authoring team

The superior anterior mediastinal lymph nodes are all located in the superior mediastinum. They can be divided into three main groups which are interconnected:

  • right
  • left
  • transverse

The superoanterior nodes drain into the bronchomediastinal trunks for the passage of lymph to the venous system.
