Neuromuscular complications of lung cancer are uncommon, occurring in less than 2% of cases. They are most often due to small cell carcinoma.

Common:

  • peripheral neuropathy
  • cerebellar degeneration / ataxia

Rare:

  • encephalomyositis
  • polymyositis / dermatomyositis
  • Lambert-Eaton myasthenia gravis
