Der fäkal-immunochemische Test (FIT) dient zum Nachweis von Blutspuren im Stuhl, die durch Blutungen im unteren GI-Trakt verursacht werden.

  • Ein erhöhter Wert kann ein Marker für Darmkrebs sein und wird bei der Behandlung von Patienten mit Symptomen des unteren Verdauungstrakts empfohlen, um festzustellen, wer zu dringenden Untersuchungen überwiesen werden muss.
