The following malignant diseases have been treated with interferons. Those indications which have FDA approval (as of Jan. 1996) are marked with an asterisk:
- hairy cell leukaemia *
- Kaposi's sarcoma in AIDS *
- chronic myelocytic leukaemia
- lymphomas
- multiple myeloma
- solid tumours:
- malignant melanoma
- renal cell carcinoma
- bladder carcinoma
- basal cell carcinoma
- actinic keratoses
- ovarian carcinoma
