On call in general practice
These are essentials for GP's on call:
- a reliable car with a full tank of petrol/diesal
- appropriate maps and street maps
- a suitable torch for house numbers and names
- a bleep or mobile phone with good batteries
- a list of emergency phone numbers
- the local chemists' rota
- emergency drugs all in date
- a nebuliser, masks and nebules; inhalers with spacer
